Hi,
I’m using the Expert version of Royal Elementor, which includes the Pro version of Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
I set up a Site Settings page using ACF (something I’ve done successfully on other sites without royal elementor) and created a field group with two fields:
- An image for the catalog cover
- A URL linking to the online Flippingbook version of said catalog
When I try to use these fields with the Royal Elementor Promo Box (via the Dynamic Attributes dropdown), nothing shows up (neither in the Elementor editor nor on the live site). This needs to work as our editors don’t want to go through every Page, manually replacing the content of each Promo Box when a new catalog comes out.
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
- Confirmed I’m selecting the correct ACF fields
- Tested other Royal Elementor widgets (none of them work either)
- Disabled all other plugins to rule out conflicts
Strangely, when I use the exact same ACF fields with regular Elementor widgets, everything works perfectly. That makes me think the problem is with how Royal Elementor handles ACF.
I did contact Royal Elementor’s support (which should include dedicated support as part of the Expert plan), but I haven’t heard back (not even after several days). In fact, I still have older requests pending from weeks ago. So I figured I’d ask here in the meantime.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Best regards,
Sebastian
